Lu Salconi è una piccola tenuta rurale che prende il nome da un’antica tradizione. Lu Salconi era un elemento essenziale per la vita negli stazzi; una nicchia realizzata in legno di ginepro selvatico, inserito nel muro a secco, che serviva per proteggere i capretti, dalla presenza di volpi e altri animali.
La casa è immersa nel verde della macchia mediterranea.
Qui potrete godere del profumo del mirto, della lavanda e dell’elicriso, del paesaggio aspro dei graniti millenari scolpiti dal vento, del poetico silenzio del maestrale e dei sapori di un’antica e sapiente cucina.

At 15 minutes from the famous beaches of La Maddalena Archipelago, between the towns of Palau and Bassacutena is located the Agriturismo Lu Salconi, a bed and breakfast in Gallura.
The choice of the name of our small rural house, comes from ancient tradition.
Lu Salconi was an essential element for life in farm; a small hut builts with wild juniper woods, inserted into the wall, that served to protect the goat puppies.
The house is surrounded by the greenof the Mediterranean, here you can enjoy the scent of myrtle, lavender and helichrysum, the huge landscape of granite sculpted by the mistral, poetic silence and flavors of old and wise recipes.
Close to the center of Santa Teresa di Gallura, Palau, Olbia and Arzachena, from our B&B, you can easily visit the beautiful beaches of Gallura and Costa Smeralda. Who loves wind surf, kite surf and to go sailing, at 15 minutes there is Porto Pollo bay, near Palau.If you want to spend an unforgettable day on the beach, you can take a trip around the islands of the archipelago of La Maddalena and visit one of the most famous bays in the Mediterranean: Spiaggia Rosa.
