Realizzato in gesso. Un piccolo oggetto funzionale ma anche decorativo.
Ho pensato ad un design pulito e dalle poche pretese.

Mirra is an incense holder with a minimal design and a circular shape. Made in plaster. A small functional but also decorative object. I thought of a clean design with few pretensions. Nice to give and to treat yourself.

ll progetto nasce nel luglio 2020 con l'intenzione di creare una linea di complementi d'arredo dalle forme semplici, morbide e delicate.
Alcuni oggetti sono realizzati in ceramica a freddo (o gesso), ma l'innovazione sta nei complementi creati con l'ausilio di stampante 3D.
L'intento è quello di utilizzare come materia prima, BIOPLASTICHE derivanti da materie naturali e biodegradabili. Nonostante ciò, il filamento ed il prodotto finito, risulta molto resistente.
L'idea di fondo è stata quella di creare una linea raffinata e che potesse soddisfare i gusti e le esigenze un po' di tutti.
Il prodotto subisce un processo di post produzione che conferisce, a tutti gli effetti, un aspetto simile alle ceramiche più sofisticate.
Inoltre ho voluto far si, che gli oggetti potessero ricordare a tutti gli effetti, le ceramiche antiche.
Dati anche i miei studi in archeologia, ho sempre amato i suppellettili di un tempo, da qui i nomi che affido ad ogni creazione, un rimando ad ere passate e gloriose.
Comunque la mia passione per tutto ciò che è antico è sempre rimasto un mio cruccio! A casa mia ho una miriade di libri di storia ed archeologia che di tanto in tanto amo sfogliare.
Ecco perché a molte delle mie creazioni, ho affidato nomi di divinità e personaggi dell'antica Roma e Grecia, ed inoltre anche le caratteristiche materiche e delle forme, rimandano sicuramente a queste epoche.Nella collezione potete trovare anche una sezione dedicata alle candele, che amo produrre, con forme particolari ma con un rimando evidente a quelle che sono le tendenze del periodo.

The project was born in July 2020 with the intention of creating a line of furnishing accessories with simple, soft and delicate shapes.
Some objects are made of cold ceramic (or plaster), but the innovation lies in the accessories created with the aid of a 3D printer.
The intent is to use BIOPLASTICS deriving from natural and biodegradable materials as raw material. Despite this, the filament and the finished product are very resistant.
The basic idea was to create a refined line that could satisfy everyone's tastes and needs.
The product undergoes a post-production process which gives, to all intents and purposes, an appearance similar to the most sophisticated ceramics. I also wanted to ensure that the objects could in all respects recall ancient ceramics. Also given my studies in archeology, I have always loved the furnishings of the past, hence the names that I give to each creation, a reference to past and glorious eras.
However my passion for all that is ancient has always remained a concern of mine! At home I have a myriad of history and archeology books that I love to leaf through from time to time.
That's why I have entrusted many of my creations with the names of deities and characters from ancient Rome and Greece, and also the material characteristics and shapes, certainly refer to these eras.
In the collection you can also find a section dedicated to candles, which I love to produce, with particular shapes but with a clear reference to the trends of the period.
