Donatella Ceria - Uccellini

Donatella Ceria Pirina è nata in Piemonte, ma da anni vive in Sardegna. Insegnante di educazione artistica, ha sviluppato, al di là della sua attività, un rapporto privilegiato con l’arte in molte dimensioni diverse e originali. Alle doti artistiche naturali ha saputo abbinare una creatività eccezionale che le ha permesso di spaziare dalle opere polimateriche alla pittura, dalle creazioni al tornio alla manualità delle elaborazioni in cartapesta e in terracotta, dal simbolismo della Giocart alla libertà di interpretazione artistica della pittura e del design.

Donatella Ceria Pirina was born in Piedmont, but has lived in Sardinia for years. An art education teacher, he has developed, beyond his activity, a privileged relationship with art in many different and original dimensions. To her natural artistic talents she has been able to combine an exceptional creativity that has allowed her to range from multi-material works to painting, from creations on the wheel to the manual skill of elaborations in papier-mâché and terracotta, from the symbolism of Giocart to the freedom of artistic interpretation of painting and design.
