Il 1990 è l'anno in cui ha scoperto la sua passione per l'arte della pipa. Iniziò così a produrre le prime pipe in autonomia da autodidatta, accompagnato dai preziosi consigli dei grandi maestri pipemakers. Ha avuto il privilegio di entrare nel laboratorio di pipemakers di livello mondiale come Mimmo Romeo e riceverne importanti lezioni sulle tecniche di realizzazione. Nel 2017 inizia ad allestire quello che sarà il suo laboratorio ed inizia la sua produzione di pipe rigorosamente realizzate a mano.

Daniele Carbini’s passion for pipemaking grew over time, first studying the works of world-renowned professionals as an autodidact and then attending the world-class Mimmo Romeo workshop. In 2017, he opened his workshop in Tempio Pausania, Sardinia where he creates singular pipes strictly by hand using Mimmo Romeo’s briarwood, horn, and wood rings and mouthpieces made of bars full of ebonite and Cumberland NewYorkHamburger. His unique pipes are distinctive for their lightness, functionality, and sinuous lines that harmonize with the wood grain.
